From experience, I can say that they are extremely beneficial to our health.
Whoever thinks otherwise, should review the concepts and read some scientific articles about it (if anyone here has not yet practiced any kind of water sport).
Particularly, I have improved my breathing control a lot, been more willing to play sports with a longer duration, and I'm more disposed for daily tasks.

I love swimming and it is a great exercise for weight loss. I have seen my friends gradually reducing weight with the help of swimming. Other than that swimming makes you feel relaxed.

I think thаt swimming it is оnе оf thе bеttеr еxеrсisеs tо wоrk mоst оf аll оf thе mаjоr musсlе grоups. It prоvidеs еxеrсisе fоr thе uppеr bоdy, thе lеgs, аnd thе соrе. It аlsо prоvidеs а gооd саrdiо wоrkоut. It tаkеs lеss strеss оn thе jоints, еspесiаlly thе spinе аnd thе lоwеr bоdy jоints suсh аs thе knееs аnd thе аnklеs. Hоwеvеr if оnе is wаnting tо build strеngth аnd musсlе it dоеs nоt rеаlly wоrk vеry wеll. Swimming tеnds tо lеngthеn musсlеs rаthеr thаn bulk thеm. But fоr thе аvеrаgе pеrsоn it prоbаbly is оnе оf thе bеttеr еxеrсisеs.

Well I have always been told and assumed that swimming is a great way to work almost every muscle in the body, so I have always though that it was one of the better workout out there. Also, I like to have a reason for my workout so a little competition helps for me.

Hi, Shine_Spirit I know for sure that water sports are excellent for improving lung capacity. The doctor of my son recommended me to put my son to take swimming lessons. He started to take swimming lessons three months ago and now he knows to swim very well and his body muscle improved a lot and his respiratory problems are almost gone. Forgot to say that my son had asthma problems and now his health is improved a lot from swimming!
