Trekking alone or accompanied?

Trekking is one of my favorite activities. Not just for the sake of weight loss / health maintenance, but for the opportunity to keep in connection with myself (this is very important to me

). I spend hours and hours doing this every week.
Considering those aspects, I prefer to trekking alone because if I am accompanied by someone I lose the focus of the activity.

Good perspective there, as trekking alone allows you to go where you want, and at your own rhythm. I do prefer going with someone that has a similar level of interest than mine, as well as physical skills, that way the whole experience is more enjoyable, while alone it can become somewhat boring.

Trekking alone and getting connected with myself sounds like relaxing time but too bad I would be afraid to be all alone. I always like to have a partner or go in a group just incase anything happens especially with all the bad news I hear happening all over the place here. I love to go trekking with one of my cousins who I am very close to. It is nice because we both like the same things and going trekking is a good way to catch up.

Trekking alone is no fun at all. It becomes only fun and enjoyable only with a good company. Moreover I don't have a heart to reside alone in an unknown place. It will not be safe at all.
The real essence of trekking is in enjoying the nature around and a wise company increase the enjoyment manifolds.

It depends on the place that one decides to trek. If it's in a remote area I would go for a group trek. This is because at such places you cannot overlook the risks. You could be mugged, attacked by wild animals or even lose your way. When you are in the company of a few friends, it will be jollier and you will all have fun. Alone trekking can only apply to a densely populated area like the estate lanes. You can walk alone along the lawns and reflect on your life. At the same time, you know you are safe since its probably your neighbourhood.

I had been to camping trips many times that included trekking and climbing. But it's fun only because I have company. In fact, the more company, the better. There was a time I went trekking with only the 2 of us. It was very tedious because there was no conversation so the trek was like an ordeal. And what more I would be trekking alone? I don't think I can do that. Besides, I am not comfortable in walking in strange places by myself. I have to admit that I am quite scared with the scenario.
