Trekking with nothing
Trekking with nothing
Have you tried joining a trek with nothing? Usually you have the backpack or the shoulder bag for the water and snack. But sometimes when friends would dare you to enter a trail with nothing on you then that is a big challenge. I once have tried it when we entered a rain forest and stayed there for several hours. When we got to the civilization, I was so thirsty.
Re: Trekking with nothing
I have never tried that and I think I never will. I prefer being prepared for what ever needs may come. It can actually be unsafe to one extent especially if it's for hours. I rather have my snacks and water with me incase I get too hungry or thirsty so I won't get weak.
Re: Trekking with nothing
I think you need some essentials like water, phone and rope in such case. Otherwise trek can be risky. Having essentials is a must. You never know when you are going to need them. I know that some people even carry their medications. Also if there are people around then we can reduce some things that we can carry but not a good idea.
Re: Trekking with nothing
That means I may not be trekking far or before I start the activity I will make sure I take care of myself in a way that I wouldn't need water or others during that time I have calculated the trekking would last. Left alone I wouldn't like to embark on one with nothing.

Re: Trekking with nothing
I have an adventurous spirit, but I've never gotten to that point. Am I not as adventurous as I think I am? Oh, my... Now I'm very confused, haha!
Just kidding. I think trekking with nothing is a bit of an exaggeration, there's no need to do that. I at least can't imagine myself doing something like that during a trekking. I mean, it's not my style.
