Re: Blue Mountains anyone?
@holmes22 I know people know very little about this place out side Australia but you would be surprised to know that this place is one of the best for peace loving travelers from all parts of the world. The place is only 90 km away from Sydney which is perhaps one of the most visited cities in the w...

Re: Roadside vendors
I am thankful that such vendors are also on the road sides here. When it is hot and the traffic is horrible one may buy a cold drink right then and there. Some sell corn snacks and also corn prepared how ever we please. There are also people who sell candies and many kinds of nuts. I know of many p...

Re: Roadside vendors
I think it's possible in our parts of the world where you find roadside vendors and eating joints but if you travel in the western countries you will hardly find any such "LUXURY" but what you get is stores at petrol pumps like Caltex, Seven Eleven, BP petrol pumps catering to all your nee...

Re: Biking alone is risky
Thanks for telling us :) I think it's a common problem in almost every part of the world including areas known for safety and lesser crime rate. I heard the only other day that a guy biking alone in the CBD was pushed and his backpack was snatched by a motorcycle rider. It's a rare case here but wha...

Re: Parking car on side of road for sight seeing
I agree with you at this point that parking cars anywhere where you feel like is a common thing which should be avoided as it increase the chances of accidents. I am in a country where road rules are too strict and even the slightest rule break could cause you anything from $100 to 500 besides demer...

Re: Great River Walk- A great experience walking along Nepean River
I must clear it that while it's not possible to walk the entire distance by ordinary walkers but if you check the entire walk you will be astounded to see the length and views on offer. I suggest you go through this link and see what you can do here https://www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au/Facilities-and-...

Re: Road trips with talkative people.
Oh no, I would probably get distracted if I found one during travel. I prefer to enjoy the scenes and the Nature while traveling and keep a track of things. Okay, let me admit if my co-passenger is an outstanding beauty that talks about travel experiences of different places perhaps I would not mind...

Re: Equal strength of companions
Yes. I totally agree with you. When we are traveling in a group these adjustments are to be made for the benefit of everyone and also to avoid unnecessary hassle along the trip. Once when we went to hiking to a small mount my mom was getting tired on the way even though she is a good climber. So, t...

Re: Equal strength of companions
I have done that many a times and always regretted for being with them (even for momentarily) I like to be on my feet all the time during a trekking/walking but when someone insists on sitting on the first available spot/bench or eat something at the first available eating spot it certainly kills th...

Great River Walk- A great experience walking along Nepean River
We had a great walking experience in Penrith CBD about 60 km away from Sydney. This famous walking trail is along the Nepean River having pictures beauty. It was Monday but we met good number of people walking with their family, friends and pets.
