First climbing experience
First climbing experience
My friend has invited me to a climbing experience for next month and to be honest I am scared. She said its not too bad and we will be having safe equipment to have the best experience. She says it's so much fun and that it will be worth it as instructors with guide us step by step. Since this is going to be my first time I'd like to know others first time experience with climbing.

Don't be afraid. I'm sure you'll love it and will have lots of fun!
Of course you'll feel that cold (but a good cold
) in the belly, indicating that the adventure is about to begin, and will be very worthwhile.
I remember my first climb like it was yesterday, it was incredible! It's an indescribable sensation and only those who understand it are people who have also experienced the same situation.

Oh wow! How exciting! I wish I get that kind of opportunity again and again. I am sure the ascent is not a very high and with friends it can be great fun.
Nothing to fear as long as you aren't asthmatic (you got to be honest with your medical conditions) as respiratory problems usually worsens with high altitude. It is also important that you aren't afraid of heights.
Otherwise it might take sometime to acclimatise. If it is very high altitude you may feel headache, nausea and sick but eating light helps.
Go ahead and have fun!

Well my first one was not in Australia, and I have yet to take advantage of any climbing when I have been down there, but I would be a fool not to have thought about almost every day when I was there. Just noticing all of the possibilities for good climbing and hiking that they have down there, and I know that there is a whole section of the population just dedicated to spreading that, which is awesome.

I'd say my earlier climbing days were quite sweet, we could easily go heights then and slowly come down, we were actually daring children. Those days we were always thrilled to go this particular activity because of the fun we derive doing them. I remember on one occasion where I missed the steps and had a fall from about 12metres high.

Dang! Such moments are always memorable ones, aren't they?
I loved climbing a rocky mountain once without any gear as this was a sudden thing. However, tough the climb was we still were as excited as anyone and by the time we touched the ground we were beat like anything! All our fingers and legs aching but that was the fun!

Re: First climbing experience
Haven't done climbing before and I do love to try it however I don't know if I could since I'm afraid of heights. I have friends in different cities who loves climbing and trekking and they always tell me how great their experiences are and they always ask me to go with them
But for now I just couldn't, I think I still need to have enough courage to do it. But I'm sure it would be exciting so don't be afraid and you go have fun
