I love to ride my bicycle when its raining. Just the feeling is amazing, it cant be put into words. I like to ride on a smooth surface, like the stretch of marble in the centre of our community park when its raining, because, the wheels slide like crazy!!
Who else likes riding in the rain?

Omg! I can imagine the feeling! Must be heaven! However, you have to be careful as you can skid easily and caud an accident.
I haven't exactly ridden but I have been a passenger on a bike while it rained, several times and I just love the feeling.

I am very careful when i ride, Thanks for the concern. Also, its nice to know somebody else also feels the same way about riding in the rain.
Re: Bicycling in the rain
I have never tried it, but it sounds really exciting. But @Decentlandy is right one must be very careful for this too as bike can get easily skid on wet roads and it can cause accident. It is true that biking in raining is whole different thing and very unique experience and risky too. So better stay caution during it.

Riding a bicycle in rain with gentle showers that strike my face give me an amazing feel. The cold breeze that blows makes me feel so relaxed .
The experience is such that it makes me feel out of this world. I can enjoy it for hours.

I thought I was alone world until I read this topic. I love riding my bike in the rain.
It may seem werid, but I literally get lost on the edge of time. This does me very well because I feel a sense of freedom that is impossible to explain using only words. It's something very good for me (and if at the moment I'm listening to music... wow, it's incredible).
Some friends have called me crazy, but it's good to know that there are more people in the world who also understand me.

Biking is not considered a popular way of enjoyment in my home country although it's very popular here in Australia with separate cycle ways. I prefer motorcycling to cycling when back in my home country for long tours. I have traveled a lot in plain and high altitude roads during rainy season which is an additional joy. We used to travel in group well prepared with extra wheels just in case something goes wrong in hilly areas where no service is available for 50 to 100 kilometers.

You are true, bicycling here is not that popular. But yes I too enjoyed motorcycling lot. Even I have went for small trips with friends and enjoyed lot. Sometimes in rain too. But yes it is not that easy, in fact it is risky as we can get slipped in wet road. So better be aware.
Though I never preferred such long distance. I am talking about 100 or above KM. I have tried it out once driving 150 KM straight, and I got ill on the next day with too much back pain. lol. May be I am not used to of it.

I like doing anything in the rain. I especially like riding my bike when it's raining, gloomy, and the wind is rough. I actually sometimes imagine I'm riding my bike to save the world in that kind of weather. It just gets you feeling like a bad a**. I also like when the thunder crackles and when I go down hills but same as anything, we need to be careful and wear the proper gear and use common logic to be safe. Rain can be fun but dangerous too.

I love riding in the rain because it gives me Increased confidence. All the skills gained and wisdom earned will give you more confidence when faced with rainy days, both on and off the bike. Because let’s face it, if you can ride through a stormy downpour with your body and mind intact, you’re ready for pretty much whatever.
